Two CHS Seniors Honored by Board of Education at November 2024 Meeting

The CUSD 10 Board of Education recognized two Collinsville High School seniors during the November regular monthly meeting.  

Senior Selah Hart was introduced by CHS Assistant Principal Bobby Wright.  Selah was named a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship program. She placed in the 96th percentile of students who entered the 2025 competition. 

Senior Eli Verning was introduced by Kahok Varsity Golf Coach Colin Moore.  Eli was an IHSA Two-Day State Qualifier in golf this fall.  He also placed third in the IHSA Sectional and helped the Kahok Golf Team advance out of the Regional - as a team - for the first time in over a decade.  

Each student received a certificate of recognition signed by Superintendent Dr. Skertich and BOE President Gary Peccola.
