Hello DIS families,
Our Lady T-Bird Basketball program begins practice this week and I’m looking forward to seeing our girls in action. Thank you to all the staff members who are giving up your time to coach in this year’s program. Our Girls on the Run program is also set to begin soon, with registration closing on February 22nd. If you want additional information on that program, we have fliers available. We’d be happy to send one home with your child.
As we get closer to our PARCC test next month, we’ll start sending some additional resources home about that. Our PARCC testing window runs from March 20th – April 12th.
We ask again that parents don’t use Glazy Squares parking lot for afternoon pick up. Doing so fills their lot and leaves no room for customers. Thank you for your cooperation.
If there’s any way we can be of assistance to you or your child, don’t hesitate to contact us. It’s great to be a T-Bird!
Yours in Education,
Principal – Dorris Intermediate School

Please - No Parking Next Door at Glazy Square
Many of you used to drop off or pick up students at the Glazy Square donut shop next door. Please help us be a good neighbor and improve student safety by using our circle drive for drop-offs and pick-ups. Their spots should be for customers only.
